Camp Week

S & L Stables with the help of Blazing Saddles 4-H Club held their first camp this week in the cooler morning air for Beginner Students with Developmental Disabilities. We had 5 students ranging in age from 13-45 paired with our wonderful miniature equine. The students learned how to groom, lead and work with their very small equine, played games such as pole bending, barrel racing and trail obstacles all in hand with their equine partners. It was very rewarding to see the growth of the students relationships with their 4-H mentors and equine partners. A huge success for all involved. We look forward to the next one in July.
